I am running for County Commissioner because I believe we need good leaders whose top priority is to serve the needs of their community above personal ambition. We need a commissioner who cares less about himself and more about the people he is elected to serve. Is that too much to ask? I don’t think so.
I love serving others; that is where I find my greatest happiness. We live in a world where politicians often forget the needs of the people who elected them to be in those positions. I felt inspired to run for office from the time I was a young adult.
As Davis County Commissioner it gives me the opportunity to serve, unify, and strengthen the county that I love so much. My family has called it home since they settled here in the 1850’s. Like many of us, I am raising my children here, and I want them to be able to raise their families here too. I want to continue improving and making this county a place to raise a family, have meaningful employment, and keep the feel of our bedroom community. I look forward to helping foster a live, work and play community.
